Ground War changes the pace of Modern Warfare 4 by making movement between objectives as important as the firefight at the destination. Players using MW4 Boosting as part of their progression plan can turn the Open Beta into a route study across Combat Outpost, Imjin Farmland, and Wolves Stadium.

These maps are listed for the Open Beta from August 28 to September 1. The Early Access weekend from August 21 to August 25 does not currently list Ground War. Final player counts, vehicle rules, and map-specific limitations are still subject to confirmation, so the first task is to learn the active match flow.

Checkpoint One: Read the Opening Position

Before leaving the spawn area, inspect the tactical map. Find the closest objective, then mark the first position that offers cover without cutting the squad off from support. Distance is only one part of the decision. A slightly slower route may provide a better angle for the next engagement.

Checkpoint Two: Establish the First Route

Use the opening rotation to compare two paths. The direct path measures speed and exposure. The covered path measures safety, visibility, and the time needed to arrive with the weapon ready.

◆ Direct route: Check how quickly the squad reaches the objective.

◆ Covered route: Watch how much protection is gained during the crossing.

◆ Elevated route: Compare information value with exposure risk.

◆ Squad route: Check whether teammates can reinforce the same position.

Checkpoint Three: Secure a Forward Position

Once the squad reaches an objective, avoid treating the capture area as the entire battlefield. Clear nearby rooms, lanes, and elevated positions. A forward position should support the capture while also giving the team a route back if the next push fails.

1. Clear the closest approach.

2. Check the high ground or longest sightline.

3. Hold cover until teammates arrive.

4. Watch the next objective on the tactical map.

5. Rotate only when the team has enough support.

Checkpoint Four: Compare the Three Maps

Combat Outpost

Begin by studying the relationship between the objective area and the surrounding approach routes. Note where open ground forces the squad to slow down and where cover allows a faster rotation.

Imjin Farmland

Use this map to test longer sightlines and the time required to cross exposed ground. Fire controlled bursts, relocate after revealing your position, and record how much cover is available near the objective.

Wolves Stadium

Examine the transition between enclosed spaces and wider routes. Pay attention to how quickly a long-range engagement becomes a close-range fight when the squad enters an interior position.

These are practical observation goals rather than fixed layout rules. Ground War details may differ during the Beta, so let the live map determine which lanes and positions deserve priority.

The phrase cheap MW4 Boosting may appear in a wider progression plan, but the useful Ground War measurement remains objective time, route safety, weapon control, and squad support.

Complete one route test on each listed map, select the slowest rotation, and repeat it with a covered approach during the next match.
