Getting the GMC Syclone sorted

The first job is to get hold of the 1991 GMC Syclone. Right now, the most straightforward option is the Autoshow. That is the route most players will take, and honestly, it is the least hassle. Yes, the auction house might look tempting if you are patient. You may even spot a better price there after a few days, once people start flipping the truck after finishing the challenge themselves. But if you just want to get moving, buying it outright is the easier call. Once you own it, take it for a short drive. That little bit of movement matters more than people expect, and it is usually the bit that gets missed when someone wonders why the step has not ticked over yet.

Drag meet runs at Irokawa Quarter Mile

After that, head to Irokawa Quarter Mile Drag Meet and finish two races there. This part is pretty relaxed once you know where you are going. If you have already unlocked the nearby fast-travel point, that saves a lot of faffing about. Otherwise, just drive over and enter through the drag meet icon. One thing worth remembering is that the game tends to track this properly when you join a normal grid slot, not when you jump into a random public setup and hope for the best. You also need the right Wristband level to access it, so if you have not progressed far enough, you will need to handle that first. For the actual runs, a lot of players like turning off Traction Control and Stability Control so the launch feels sharper. It is not essential, but it can make the Syclone feel much less awkward off the line.

Wreckage skills without overcooking it

The next objective is the one that trips people up for no real reason: earn three Awesome Wreckage Skill rewards. The Syclone needs to be the car you are driving, and you need to smash through roadside objects like signs, fences, or lampposts. The catch is speed. Go too fast and the game upgrades the score to Ultimate instead of Awesome, which looks better but does not count for this challenge. That means you want a bit of control here, not full send. A quiet stretch of road with plenty of clutter nearby is usually the easiest place to do it. Keep your pace steady, break a few things, and don't chase the bigger rating if you only need the smaller one. It is one of those tasks that feels messy when you overthink it and very simple when you stop trying to be perfect.

Street race pressure at night

The final step is to win a Street Race in the same truck. This is where the mood changes a bit. Street Races happen at night, traffic can get in the way, and the roads are less forgiving than most people remember. If you are used to racing with clear sightlines and obvious braking points, this can catch you out. There is a good chance you will want to use a familiar route rather than chasing the flashiest option on the map. Rainbow Bridge Descent in Irokawa is a solid pick if you have unlocked it already. It is also worth dropping the difficulty a notch if you just want the reward and do not care about making it a dramatic victory. The truck is capable enough, but the race itself can still go sideways if you clip one civilian car at the wrong moment.

Extra seasonal jobs worth doing

There is more running alongside the weekly challenge, so it makes sense to knock a few things out while you are already in the season. Some of last week's Daily Challenges will start expiring as Week 2 begins, while a new set rolls in one by one through the rest of the week. On top of that, Autumn's extra seasonal tasks include a photo challenge and a collectible run. The photo asks for any 1990s Jaguar, which should not be too painful if you already keep a decent garage. The collectible side sends you into the bamboo forest, where the goal is to smash at least 30 bamboo stalks. That one is tied to Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, sitting between the Minamino and Ito regions, so you can approach it from whichever side suits you best. Finishing both gives you useful rewards, including a Super Wheelspin and a car horn, and it is probably worth doing before you forget about them.
